About this landfill
DANC Solid Waste Management Facility is a publicly owned landfill in Rodman, Jefferson County, New York. It is operated by Development Authority of the North Country (DANC). The site opened in 1992 and is expected to keep accepting waste until about 2074. It took in about 253,669 tons of waste in 2022, making it the No. 15 of 25 reporting landfills in New York by volume.
